De Sluwe Vos

Born in Twello, the Netherlands, Robert Vosmeijer under the name De Sluwe Vos builds a career rooted in house and techno, with an approach that alternates club efficiency, more melodic textures, and instrumental live formats. Active since the early 2010s, he cut his teeth between local parties, radio and underground scenes in eastern Netherlands before quickly expanding his reach to clubs and European festivals. De Sluwe Vos drew attention in 2013 with the track «OG Anthem», then continued with Kontra in 2015, a project published in several installments reflecting the diversity of his writing, between direct tracks for the dancefloor and slower or more atmospheric passages. Over the years, De Sluwe Vos has performed both in DJ sets and live, on stages such as Lowlands, DGTL, Awakenings, or Eurosonic, while evolving his discography with the Dancing Glass Figures EP in 2019, the Live at Lowlands album in 2019, Virtual Excursion with Kubus in 2023, the Terraforming EP in 2023, and Now I Understand in 2024. His activity also extends to his labels Patron Records and Native Swamp, as well as the Intercity 106 project led with Sjamsoedin, in an electronic register that blends house, techno and breakbeat-inflected accents.
