DC Salas

Based in Brussels, Belgian producer and DJ DC Salas develops an electronic music approach that sits between house, melodic techno, cosmic disco and echoes of new wave. Active since the late 2000s, he emerged from the Brussels scene and went on to release music on a number of European club labels, notably Biologic Records, which he co-runs. His work is characterized by straightforward rhythmic constructions, prominent synthesizer lines and atmospheres often tinged with melancholy—designed both for the dancefloor and for extended listening. The 2017 album The Unspoken underlines his taste for more narrative formats, combining club-oriented tracks with more introspective passages. Alongside his productions, DC Salas maintains a regular DJ practice, performing in clubs, festivals and hybrid venues where he blends tempo variations, acid-leaning tracks and more pop or Balearic influences, while remaining rooted in European house and techno culture.
