Pills for Tomorrow

Born in Grenoble, Pills for Tomorrow brings together five musicians around a repertoire located between shoegaze, psychedelic rock and dream pop, in an aesthetic shaped by the heritage of the late-20th-century British scene. The band, formed in 2023, gathers Nathalie Valion on vocals and lyrics, Laurent Gouviaux for composition and guitar, Fabrice Brenchenmacher on guitar and arrangements, Laurent Prost on bass and Augustin Garnier on drums. Pills for Tomorrow develops a sound built around the interweaving of guitars that are both abrasive and airy, tight rhythms and a soaring voice that keeps the tracks within a melodic and hushed register. In 2024, Pills for Tomorrow released its first EP, Castle Rock, a six-track format that includes a cover of Shadowplay in homage to Joy Division. The band's early releases sketch an identity nourished by shoegaze, neo-psychedelia and melodic post-punk, with a taste for dense textures and introspective moods. According to information disseminated by the band, a first album is announced for 2026.
