Frederik Valentin

Based in Copenhagen, Frederik Valentin has since the early 2010s been developing a trajectory located between experimental pop, electronic music and introspective writing. Initially associated with a Danish scene marked by abrasive, performative and DIY forms, he has evolved his music toward more melodic compositions, where digital textures, acoustic guitar, treated vocals and more legible song formats coexist. His discography, documented notably on Discogs and MusicBrainz, includes several solo releases well as collaborations with artists close to his milieu, among whom Loke Rahbek, Hannes Norrvide and Yung Lean stand out. Frederik Valentin thus moves between deformed chamber pop, ambient, slowed club music and cinematic-tinged ballads, in a balance between vocal fragility and deliberately unstable production. With Rock N Roll Will Never Die, announced for 2025, Frederik Valentin continues this shift toward a more personal writing, recorded in a domestic setting and nourished by his artistic circle as by a more intimate dimension.
