Louise BSX

Based in Paris, Louise BSX has since the early 2020s been developing a project that sits at the crossroads of hyperpop, electronic pop and Y2K references, with a writing style that plays on contrasts between glittering textures, front‑and‑center pop hooks and more acidic timbres. Louise BSX grounds her work in an aesthetics nourished as much by 2000s pop as by more experimental forms of electronic music, with a marked taste for dense arrangements and tonal shifts. Her EP Trop Bonne Trop Conne, released in 2024, extends this direction by addressing questions related to femininity through deliberately theatrical and distorted pop. In parallel with releases under her own name, Louise BSX also works for image and composes for cinema. She notably contributed to the soundtrack of Les Reines du drame by Alexis Langlois, in a frame shared with Yelle and Rebeca Warrior. Across these different formats, Louise BSX keeps circulating the same approach, between pop culture, assertive stylization and electronic production, occupying a space that is at once song, club and film score.
