Loufox
Louis develops Loufox after a career that began very early, between classical training and theatre practice, before returning to music through rap writing in adolescence. Active on the Paris scene, he makes his first forays in open mics and then co-founds in 2018 the duo Renard Tortue, with which he releases two EPs and an album, while playing numerous concerts in the capital. This band experience shapes Loufox’s identity, nourished by French-language writing, a pop sensibility and reflexes from urban music. In parallel, Louis also works as a director, beatmaker and songwriter, and collaborates notably with Asfar Shamsi and Lil Yan, in the studio as well as on stage. Loufox then takes a fully solo form, in a French alternative pop register where clear melodies, airy productions, marked rhythms and intimate, uncluttered lyrics intersect. The project moves forward with a song-based format that keeps the taste of the rap formula while opening up to a more sung approach. Sur le fil, published in 2026, marks a milestone in this trajectory and lays the groundwork for the Loufox project in its current form.
