GOLIMAR

Formed in 2022, GOLIMAR brings together Mathis Masurier on vocals and Tom Lévêque on composition in a French duo that crosses electronic music, rap and chanson in a format oriented toward the stage. Their music relies on synthetic loops, dry rhythms and a diction, sung or spoken, that places the texts at the center. GOLIMAR develops an aesthetic that is both direct and meticulously crafted, where punk energy blends with dense writing, sometimes baroque, attentive to the tensions of the present. The project adheres to an electronic-music approach that prioritizes direct impact, repetition and movement, without dissociating substance from form. On stage, GOLIMAR embodies this contrast between dance and gravity, between physical impulse and a look at the era, in performances that rely as much on vocal intensity as on the effectiveness of the instrumentals. In a short time, GOLIMAR has laid the foundations of a coherent universe, at the crossroads of synthetic rap, minimalist electronics and contemporary chanson attentive to the text.
