Hailing from the French rap scene, SLK first came to attention with the freestyle series “On t’alimente,” which established a foundation of direct writing and a tense rap style, soon enriched by a more melodic register. Over successive releases, SLK developed a flexible format—alternating incisive tracks, sung choruses and broader-scope songs—while retaining a raw energy. This evolution led to collaborations with several artists from the francophone scene, including Gazo, L2B, Joe Dwet File, Soolking, Heuss L’Enfoiré and Kerchak. In 2025 SLK reached a new milestone with “Hakimi,” a track widely circulated on social media and picked up on TikTok by Achraf Hakimi, PSG, DAZN Arabia and the CAF. Between confrontational rap and smoother melodies, SLK evolves his identity within a framework that draws as much from current French rap as from more accessible formats, while continuing the momentum started with his earliest freestyles.
