Uninvited

Formed in Glasgow, Scotland, Uninvited brings together Jay Eliver on vocals and guitar, Alex Young on guitar and Fiorenza Cocozza on drums in a trio format focused on direct pop‑punk songwriting, threaded through with alternative rock and poppier melodies. The band first drew attention with the track “Behind The Black Door,” which was selected by the BBC Music Introducing network and led to a performance in Radio 1’s Live Lounge—an appearance that marked their emergence on the UK scene. The project also sits within a wider effort to increase representation of non‑male creatives in contemporary music, an aspect frequently associated with the band’s identity. On stage, Uninvited has moved between clubs and festivals across the UK, with appearances at 2000trees and Reading & Leeds, before embarking on their first headline tour. Both in form and aesthetic, Uninvited favours tense, immediate songs, hook‑driven choruses and upfront guitar work, in the continuity of a British pop‑punk scene that blends live energy with melodic sensibility.
