Francesca Burattelli

Active on the Danish experimental scene, Francesca Burattelli develops work at the crossroads of music, performance and visual arts. Her universe blends avant-pop, art pop, orchestral composition and experimental electronics in pieces where the voice occupies a central place. She incorporates elements from the sound and vocal traditions of southern Italy, combining them with electronic textures, forms close to contemporary music and a more direct writing inherited from avant‑garde pop. This movement between several languages produces an aesthetic that is at once stylized, unstable and highly embodied, often extended on stage by a visual and performative component. Discographic markers associated with this trajectory include “Conditon” (2020) and “Battle Fatigue” (2022).
