Natalie Wildgoose
Split between North Yorkshire and London, Natalie Wildgoose writes chamber folk with touches of art song, built around voice and piano in spare arrangements and often suffused with a pastoral, melancholic atmosphere. Her work sits between rural and urban worlds, nourished as much by the moorland landscapes of northern England as by the London scenes she has moved through in recent years. Supported by BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music Mixtape, Balamii Radio and NTS Radio, Natalie Wildgoose has also performed in a variety of settings — from the London Jazz Festival to Abbey Road Studios x BBC Introducing, and at Wilderness Festival, the IDLER Festival, the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Academy of Arts and LSO St Luke’s. In 2025 she is preparing the project Songs From The Moors, an EP backed by PRS Women Make Music and conceived as a series of recordings made in different locations across North Yorkshire, from Victorian mills and listed village halls to isolated chapels.
