Birthh

Born in Florence in 1996, Alice Bisi develops under the name Birthh a pop-writing style that blends indie pop, songwriting and subtle electronic textures, with a constant attention to the voice and the atmosphere. Active since the mid-2010s, Birthh emerges with Born in the Woods in 2016, a debut album that establishes her on the Italian independent scene and quickly takes her to festivals such as SXSW in Texas and the MI AMI Festival. After a first phase marked by intimate English-language pop, Birthh evolves her approach with WHOA in 2020, released on Carosello Records, where the arrangements gain breadth and depth while preserving a personal and melodic writing. Based in New York from 2020, Birthh continues this aesthetic movement on Moonlanded in 2023, between dream pop, art pop and soft electronics, in a more open and fluid register. Her career also includes a few sporadic collaborations, notably on the track Euforia in 2020. Birthh has since her debut alternated between Italian and international stages, with a format that puts the precision of singing, flexible compositions and a chamber pop with contemporary contours at the center.
