Cam Stockman

Rooted in Manchester’s scene, Cam Stockman has been developing, since the early 2020s, a sound that sits between house, electro and minimal, with a clear affinity for the rhythms and colors of 1990s dance. After starting to produce and mix around the age of 20, he refined an approach that moves between dry grooves, supple basslines and pared-down club structures, without committing to any single school of house. His trajectory began in Manchester’s local circuit and gained momentum with the launch of his night Suburbia at the end of 2022, conceived as a meeting point between city artists and names from the wider electronic scene. In 2023 he issued his first release on the Whoyostro label and also appeared at events linked to BeeYou records, before following up with a release on Locus London, a label associated with Fuse London. Through DJing, productions and event organisation, Cam Stockman situates himself within a shifting house and minimal scene, anchored locally in Manchester while circulating on club line-ups beyond the UK.
