Ude Af Kontrol

Active in Denmark since 2014, Ude Af Kontrol brings together rappers Englando and Munken with producer Balken in a trio that blends Danish rap, club hooks and a pulse borrowed from Melbourne bounce. The project grew through a series of rapid releases: first Kontrolleret kaos (Deluxe) in 2014, then Ufrivillig fysisk respons in 2015 and BUSTUM (Deluxe) in 2016, followed by the Ude af kurs EP in 2017, Under al kritik in 2018, Uforglemmelig anderledes kunst in 2020 and Bedre Sent End Aldrig in 2023. For Ude Af Kontrol, short tracks, direct bass and catchy toplines serve a straightforward, often celebratory and sometimes deliberately absurd rap, designed as much for immediate energy as for the song format. The trio has also released numerous singles over the years — including 3xK, FuckBoi, Velsignet (Har det godt pt. 2), Op a, O.M.G. and BoyToy — and has made occasional collaborations like “Morgenfest” with Chriz and Heino. Ude Af Kontrol therefore occupies a recognisable place in the Danish rap and crossover scene, at the intersection of party electronic music and hip‑hop writing.
