Queen Machine
Under the name Queen Machine, this Danish rock band pays a stage tribute to Queen's repertoire by performing the British group's major hits as well as some lesser-known tracks. Built around a singer, a guitarist, a keyboardist, a bassist and a drummer, Queen Machine follows the tradition of tribute bands oriented toward the rock sound of the 1970s and 1980s, with a strong emphasis on vocal harmonies, guitar solos and an arena-rock aesthetic. Since their beginnings on local stages in Denmark, Queen Machine has performed extensively in venues, festivals and theatres across several European countries, adapting Queen's studio and live arrangements to contemporary formats. The band regularly develops large-scale shows, occasionally with orchestra, to revisit songs like “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “We Will Rock You” or “Somebody to Love” in versions designed for live performance. Queen Machine's activity centers on performance, with work on sound, costumes and staging that places Queen's repertoire in a contemporary context.
