DVRK

Born in 2019 as a solo project before evolving into a band, DVRK crafts a crossover of deathcore, nu metal and elements drawn from the heaviest electronic music. The lineup later settled into a full-band format—two guitars, bass, drums and vocals—to deliver a sound built on compact riffs, jarring rhythms, breakdowns and synthetic textures integrated into the songwriting rather than tacked on as decoration. DVRK gradually carved out a place on the modern metal scene by releasing multiple tracks and collaborating with artists from adjacent backgrounds, including Conquer Divide, Cove Reber, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! and Hyro The Hero. That evolution also marked a step in DVRK’s organization with the signing of their first EP to Season of Mist. In its current form DVRK pursues a direct, hybrid aesthetic at the crossroads of contemporary extreme metal, the groove inherited from nu metal and a more abrasive approach to bass music.
