Heidi Montag
Born in Crested Butte, Colorado, Heidi Montag first made her mark on American pop culture with the television series The Hills, which premiered in 2006, before developing a parallel musical project situated between pop, dance‑pop and electropop. Montag began her recording activity in the late 2000s with the EPs Wherever I Am and Here She Is… in 2009, followed by the album Superficial in 2010 — a synth‑driven pop record aimed at the club scene, built around very direct choruses and productions tailored for the dance register. During this period she worked notably with songwriter Cathy Dennis and placed her music within a landscape closely linked to reality TV, tabloid media and the American commercial pop of the time. After the EP Dreams Come True in 2012, her music career became more intermittent, although she remained visible on television, often alongside Spencer Pratt. From 2019, with The Hills: New Beginnings, and after renewed attention to the song I'll Do It in 2023, Heidi Montag more clearly revived her musical activity with the singles Wet Hot Summer and Fashion in 2024, before releasing her second album, Heidiwood, in 2025.
