Absolute Treat

Based in Toronto, Absolute Treat creates band-oriented pop that blends disco, rock and R&B in a direct, rhythmic songwriting style designed as much for dancing as for melodies. The project revolves around Natalie Panacci on vocals and Julia Wittmann on vocals and guitar, two queer musicians who initially circulated their music under the name Dilettante before adopting the name Absolute Treat. In this first phase the duo established itself on Toronto’s pop scene with songs propelled by alternating voices, crisp guitars and supple grooves, sitting between indie pop and moodier, nocturnal accents. The album Dilettante, released in 2022, marked this emergence and includes the tracks “Bonnie” and “Donna.” Under the name Absolute Treat, the group extends this identity, keeping a collective format and a blend of registers where rock energy, R&B instincts and disco textures remain central.
