Saaro

Between Bagnolet, in the Paris region, and a rapidly evolving Francophone rap scene, Saaro is forging a world shaped by rap, rock, and gospel, with explicit nods to Ninho and Wizkid. From an early age, songwriting became an instinctive form of expression, which Saaro later carried onto the stage through numerous open mics and local shows. This steady activity led him to cross paths with Tiakola, who brought him into his artistic circle and invited him onto the track “Cabrel” within the “BDLM” project, a collaboration that exposed Saaro to a broader audience. The rapper has since refined a melodic register blending singing and flow, Afro influences and gospel hues, favoring lyrics centered on identity, personal journeys, and family ties. In parallel, Saaro continues to release solo tracks—including “Moussolou,” “Identité” featuring Bilouki, and “Tentei de Tudo”—which illustrate his back-and-forth between French, African influences, and more pop-leaning styles. In this vein, Saaro emerges as a young artist from Bagnolet in the making, active in rap and contemporary urban music, and attentive to the collaborations that shape his progression.
