VVV [Trippin'you]
From Móstoles, on the outskirts of Madrid, VVV [Trippin'you] develops as a trio a sound that sits between post-punk, darkwave and club electronics, with a marked taste for contrasts between melodic tension, tight vocals and abrupt rhythms. Active since the late 2010s, VVV [Trippin'you] belongs to a Spanish scene that mixes new wave heritage, punk energy and references more directly tied to rave culture. Their songwriting pairs dark synths and nervous sequences with borrowings from EBM, trance, mákina and UK garage, without abandoning a taut, confrontational song form. Milestones in their trajectory include the albums Escama (2021) and Turboviolencia (2023), which show a widening of the electronic spectrum while preserving a cold, fast and dense aesthetic. On stage and in the studio, VVV [Trippin'you] work in a compact format where digital textures, percussion and repetition serve a music that is both physical and dark, rooted in the Spanish independent circuit.
