Boris Way / ALAC

Born in Draguignan in 1991 as Boris Equestri and raised between Cavalaire-sur-Mer and Nice, Boris Way first pursued a path as a musician in rock bands before turning to DJing and electronic production. Established on the Nice club scene, where he held a residency at L’Étoile, he made his recording debut in the early 2010s with tracks like “Bad Side” and “Moments” in 2011, followed by “Seduction” in 2014. His sound originates in deep house and has evolved toward a more melodic house—between future house, progressive house and techno-tinged elements—with a marked taste for vocal hooks and straightforward structures. After releases on Spinnin’, he gained visibility with “Your Love” in 2017, recorded with Tom Bailey, then followed with “Want You” in 2018, the EP Feelings the same year, “Wasted Love” in 2019, “No More (Boom Boom)” and “O Vai” in 2020, before “Pink Shoulders” and “Walking Away” in 2021. Boris Way then released “Kings & Queens” in 2022, “Lose My Mind” and “People Love” in 2023, and “Someone To Be Mine”, “People Of The Sun” with LAWRENT and “Save Me” with Justin Jesso in 2024. Also occasionally credited as ALAC, Boris Way’s club-oriented electronic music is conceived as much for the stage as for the song.
