Booze & Glory
Formed in London in 2009, Booze & Glory emerged on the British punk scene with clear roots in the Oi! milieu connected to Polish immigration to the UK. The band plays a direct, driving street punk built on shouted choruses, tight tempos and an aesthetic inherited from English Oi!, while keeping an international line‑up. Around singer Marek Rusek, Booze & Glory first drew attention with Always on the Wrong Side (2010) and Trouble Free (2011), followed by As Bold as Brass (2014), Chapter IV (2017) and Hurricane (2019). Their trajectory also includes several splits, singles and lineup changes, with founding members leaving in the early 2010s and a later stability forming around Rusek, guitarist Kahan and drummer Frank Pellegrino. Lyrically they draw on London street culture as much as working‑class themes, camaraderie, football and everyday life, while distancing themselves from the far‑right skinhead scene.
