Promenade Cinema

The British duo Promenade Cinema develops a dark synthpop at the crossroads of darkwave, electropop and synthwave, with songwriting marked by dense electronic textures, expansive melodic lines and a prominently present vocal. The project shapes a cinematic universe where nocturnal atmospheres and danceable pulses coexist with crisp choruses and an often enveloping production. Over the course of their trajectory, Promenade Cinema has become part of the European circuits for alternative and electronic music, appearing on stages such as NCN Festival in Germany, Infest and Resistanz in the UK, and ElectriXmas in Sweden. Afterlife, released in 2025, is Promenade Cinema's third album and extends this aesthetic between darkwave tension, wide synths and a structured pop approach. Both on stage and in the studio, Promenade Cinema maintains a balance between darkness, melodic clarity and electronic energy, in a formula that remains committed to the duo format.
