Danger

Danger, whose real name is Franck Rivoire, is a French producer and composer who became one of the defining figures of 2000s electro thanks to a dark, cinematic aesthetic influenced as much by the French Touch as by video games and pop culture. Trained as a graphic designer, he built from the start a strong visual universe — black mask, mysterious timestamps — that accompanies compositions blending tension, melancholy and raw energy. Revealed by his early EPs numbered by times (14h54, 09h20…), he established a recognizable sonic signature of powerful synths, taut rhythms and almost narrative atmospheres. Key projects include the EP 09/17 2007 and the album Taiko, where he expands his approach toward a more orchestral dimension. Also active in game music (notably Furi) and film, Danger has developed a hybrid body of work in which electronics becomes storytelling, confirming his status as a cult artist of the French electro scene.
