Bhaskar
Born in Goiânia, Brazil in 1991, Bhaskar Achkar Peres Petrillo has been evolving in electronic music since adolescence, in a family environment directly linked to the Brazilian psytrance scene and the Universo Paralello festival. Initially active with his twin brother Alok in the live project Lógica, he trained very early in trance and live performance before widening his spectrum toward more house oriented productions, melodic techno and Brazilian bass. In the mid-2010s, Bhaskar developed a solo career and also became part of the Blue Rose and Second projects, where his work takes on a more club colour, with leaner structures and a marked attention to textures, basslines and progressive builds. His tracks and collaborations then circulated widely on Brazilian and international electronic scenes, in a register that blends dancefloor efficiency, accessible vocal hooks and pop touches without leaving an electronic base. Among his releases are Feeling So High in 2016, Fuego with Alok in 2017, followed by titles such as Rascunho in 2019, which show writing capable of navigating between club formats, intersections with Brazilian pop and more melodic productions. Bhaskar thus maintains a career tied to several aesthetics of the Brazilian electronic scene, from early psytrance to a more open contemporary house.
