Arpy Brown

Under the name Arpy Brown, Robin Paul Braum develops an electronic project split between Berlin and London, in a register that blends club music, house lines, disco touches and more organic textures. Arpy Brown’s releases and remixes on Toy Tonics, Aus Music, Rhythm Section and Kitsuné Musique place him in both leftfield circles and on dance scenes more open to pop and groove. In parallel to DJ sets played across the United Kingdom, continental Europe and later in 2024 in Australia and New Zealand, Arpy Brown operates within a collective framework. Robin Paul Braum co‑founded the duo Athlete Whippet with long‑time collaborator Aviram Barath, with whom he also ran the collective and label squareglass. Since 2019, Arpy Brown has also been organising intimate nights between London and Berlin, inviting artists from a range of strands in electronic music.
