Hitty

Born in the United Kingdom and based in London, Hitty develops a universe situated between house, hip-hop and dancehall, with productions built on nerve-wracking club rhythms, distinctive vocal samples and a direct approach to the dancefloor. Active both as a DJ and a producer, Hitty has made a name for himself with sets where house energy, bass music and references to sound-system cultures intersect, in an aesthetic conceived for the club while not being limited to a single register. His visual presence, paired with his gloves that have become a distinctive sign, accompanies a broader body of work around artistic identity and staging. In London, Hitty also develops his own formats with HITTY-X and GLOVE SEAZON, both as events and broadcasting frames for his project, extending his taste for immersive environments and the links between image, narrative and music. On stage as in production, Hitty channels British and Caribbean influences into a taut, rhythmic and frontal electronic writing that places him within the contemporary house and club scenes.
