Melanie Ribbe

Born in Germany and raised in Jamaica, Melanie Ribbe has built a career linking club culture, Caribbean heritage and London training at the London Academy of Music Production. Active on the electronic scene since the mid-2010s, she operates in a tech-house and groovy house register, driven by dry rhythms, clear basslines and a strong sense of movement — with a direct, precise approach to the dancefloor. After a notable debut at Miami Music Week in 2015, she moved on to international dates and established herself on the Ibiza circuit with regular appearances at Amnesia and Cova Santa, where she also runs her event series Melanie Ribbe & Friends. Her discography includes releases on Moon Harbour, Saved, Viva Limited, Mindshake and Roush, as well as collaborations with Paco Osuna and Reboot. In 2018 she secured a residency at the Ame Club in Brazil, and in 2020 she founded her label Agápe Muzik and the Agápe Showcases. In 2021 she released the album DANCE AGAIN on that label, continuing work focused on percussion-driven, flexible and functional house designed for both the club and the mix.
