Portex
Portex has been developing from the Netherlands a register located between techno, trance and acid, with direct, fast productions centered on rhythmic impact. Active since the late 2010s, he circulates a sound that blends sharp acid lines, trance-derived bounce and contemporary club structures, in an aesthetic designed for DJ formats and today\'s electronic scenes. Portex belongs to a generation of European artists who bring techno tension closer to the melodic drive of trance without tipping into a register too demonstrative. His name gradually appears in circuits related to festivals, clubs and electronic diffusion platforms, while several DJs from the techno and rave scenes have played his tracks, among them Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, KI/KI, Pan-Pot, Patrick Mason, Hannah Laing, Ida Engberg, VTSS, Lilly Palmer and Joyhauser. Through his releases and sets, Portex refines a readable sonic identity, based on acid sequences, clear build-ups and a continuous energy, with a balance between tension, speed and melodic hook.
