Upsilone
Based in Paris, Upsilone explores electro and pop territories through an aesthetic influenced by the French Touch, rooted in a direct connection with digital culture. Introduced to piano around age 12, he quickly turned to electronic music and draws on French references from the 2000s — from Daft Punk to Bob Sinclar and Martin Solveig, then Justice and Breakbot — which shaped his taste for memorable melodies and disco‑funk textures. From a generation accustomed to working independently, he writes his lyrics, composes and produces his tracks, and creates his video content; his image is marked by his white glasses and a deliberately offbeat tone. Part of the audience discovered him through his tutorials “Comment faire un tube,” in which he deconstructs hit-making and highlights the use of certain samples, while others follow him through his remixes — notably of David Guetta’s “Like I Do” and Vladimir Cauchemar’s “Brrr” — and his single “Bodies Movin,” with its disco and electro-pop hues. Alongside his own releases, he is embedded in a network of collaborations with French producers such as David Guetta, Sebastian, Martin Solveig and Kungs, consolidating a stance between playful entertainment and more traditional studio work.
