Kombynat Robotron

Formed in Kiel in northern Germany in 2018, Kombynat Robotron is a three-piece developing psychedelic rock with a strong krautrock component, marked by repetitive motifs, motorik rhythms and harsher textures drawn from noise rock. Part of the contemporary European psych scene, the band has circulated its music across several independent labels, including Tonzonen Records, Cardinal Fuzz, Clostridium Records, Little Cloud Records and Fuzz Club. Kombynat Robotron has also built its presence on stage, both in clubs and at festivals, in contexts close to heavy rock, space rock and repetitive music, notably sharing bills with Elder, Verstärker and Domkraft. In a few years, Kombynat Robotron has secured an identifiable place in the German and European underground thanks to a direct, dense and hypnotic aesthetic that links the legacy of krautrock to a more contemporary approach to psych rock.
