Howard

Parisian rock trio Howard centers its sound on the Hammond organ, distorted guitars and electronic elements, in direct echo of 1960s and 1970s rock. Drawing on references such as Deep Purple and The Doors, Howard reinterprets these legacies in a more contemporary setting, with tighter structures, a pronounced groove and synthetic textures that thicken the atmosphere without pulling away from the rock format. The band operates within a scene where psychedelic rock, hard rock and alternative influences intersect, favoring a group energy focused on collective playing. On stage, Howard has shared the bill with artists like Ayron Jones, Yarol Poupaud, Last Train and Ko Ko Mo, gradually establishing itself on various rock circuits in France. In 2025, Howard joined the agency Rage Tour, performed at Hellfest and released a new self-produced album that further emphasizes the electronic dimension of its writing while retaining the organic, abrasive core that has characterized the band since its beginnings.
