Emile Londonien

Emile Londonien is a trio from Strasbourg that emerged from the Omezis collective, where musicians, DJs and videographers have crossed paths for years. Trained at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg, the three members met at events organised by the collective and, in 2020, recorded a first session as a tribute to the English scene that deeply influences them. The name Emile Londonien thus became a nod both to that British heritage and to a major figure in French jazz. Their early tracks, played by the BBC and noticed early on by Gilles Peterson, quickly drew attention and led them to major stages such as the Worldwide Festival, Montreux and Nancy Jazz Pulsations. In 2023, Emile Londonien released Legacy, a project that marked an important step in their career and featured guests such as Kuna Maze, Léon Phal and Emile Parisien. The trio followed with Dreaming in Colors (2023), the MNK tribute the same year, and Three Roses in 2024, recorded with CHERISE and Ivan Conti. Navigating between collective writing, improvisation and stylistic crossovers, Emile Londonien has established itself as one of the most dynamic French acts of its generation, driven by a steady creative momentum and a strong grounding in the current scene.
