Mon cher Guy

Mon cher Guy is a Parisian DJ and producer who shapes a retro, melodic identity by blending indie dance, post‑disco and flashes of alternative rock. Trained on the clarinet from a very young age, she retains a keen sense of melodic line and an instinctive approach to emotion, which she channels into music that is sunny, nostalgic and firmly geared toward the stage. Her world unfolds through productions marked by luminous textures and danceable energy, with tracks like “Malfunction” and a debut EP due in the autumn. Very active behind the decks, she played more than forty dates in 2023—from the Rex Club to Badaboum, including Marvellous Island and Cocorico Electro—imposing an immediate style that balances retro softness with contemporary intensity. Now part of the NightClubbing project initiated by Jennifer Cardini, she continues to explore the intersections of indie dance, dark disco and techno, staking a distinctive place in the new French electronic scene.
