Odyssey Inc.

Based in London, Odyssey Inc. is Paul Gullefer's house and disco project, a producer and DJ formerly active under the name Dolly Rockers and also associated with Cache 22. Active in electronic music since the early 1990s, Paul Gullefer develops with Odyssey Inc. a sound centered on warm, rhythmic house, shaped by the heritage of disco, funk, and soulful house. The project emerged in the late 2010s and is mainly focused on remix work, with reinterpretations of classics or tracks rooted in the house tradition, conceived for today’s dancefloor without breaking with the codes of British and international club scenes. Odyssey Inc. has thus signed numerous remixes for artists and producers such as David Penn, Kevin McKay, Soul Avengerz, Groove Committee, Jason Herd, Victor Simonelli, or Ny’s Finest, in a register where rounded basslines, flexible rhythmic sections, and nods to disco textures intersect. Paul Gullefer's activity under Odyssey Inc. extends an already dense career, begun well before this new alias, and is also accompanied by label work with Wayne Soul Avengerz around Trois Garçon Records.
