Andy Timmons

Andy Timmons is one of the rare guitarists who can combine technical virtuosity with genuine emotion. First known as the lead guitarist of the glam‑metal band Danger Danger, he made his mark in the 1980s on the world’s biggest stages alongside KISS and Alice Cooper. Behind his dazzling solos and pinpoint precision is a musician of great sensitivity, passionate about composition and sonic exploration. Over the course of his career he has collaborated with artists as varied as Paul Stanley, Olivia Newton‑John, Simon Phillips and Paula Abdul, moving effortlessly from rock to pop, from jazz fusion to instrumental soul. With the Andy Timmons Band he developed a distinctive style blending melodic rock, blues and instrumental pop. His album Plays Sgt. Pepper, a tribute to the Beatles, remains a reference for its creativity and interpretive elegance. In 2022 he released Electric Truth, produced by Josh Smith, ranked by Guitar World as the sixth best guitar album of the year for its balance of technique and feeling. In 2025 Timmons returned with Recovery, an introspective record inspired by resilience and healing, where powerful riffs, atmospheric ballads and a moving cover of the rare Lennon‑McCartney song “I’m In Love,” recorded at Abbey Road, intertwine. Driven by boundless passion and rare sincerity, Andy Timmons transcends genres and generations. His guitar, both lyrical and intense, speaks a universal language that resonates with rock fans and music lovers seeking depth.
