Kalsey Kulyk
Splitting her time between Nashville and her native province of Saskatchewan, Canadian singer‑songwriter Kalsey Kulyk works within a contemporary country style rooted in North American acoustic tradition. Originally from the small town of Hudson Bay, she began writing at an early age, drawing on a trajectory marked by departures to major cities and repeated crossings between Canada and the United States. Her repertoire blends intimate ballads, folk influences and current country sonorities, with particular attention to lyrics, vocal lines and everyday details. After several years gaining notice on Canadian country stages—through contests and development programs for emerging artists—she moved to Nashville to focus on songwriting and expand collaborations within the songwriting community. Kalsey Kulyk released a self‑titled debut album in 2019, gathering songs that had been road‑tested live alongside new compositions, and has since followed with a string of singles that assert an aesthetic centered on personal narratives, romantic relationships and small‑town life observed from afar.
