ØTTA

Based in Paris after beginning her journey in Portugal, ØTTA develops an electronic aesthetic that links industrial techno, hardcore, trance and rhythms drawn from baile and other Brazilian club circulations. Her sets and productions move at fast tempos, featuring acid lines, dry percussion and melodic buildups that borrow as much from hard dance as from a more hybrid rave culture. ØTTA emerged on the Paris scene around the turn of the 2020s, notably within the Possession milieu, where the EP WOMXN was released. Other releases such as Plus One, Candy22 and the track Silence Is Oppression — circulated during the mobilizations in Poland in the early 2020s — established a frontal, physical register marked by the crossover of European and Latin American scenes. Both a DJ and a producer, ØTTA has since worked across clubs, festivals and filmed formats internationally, and in 2024 she launched Hotties — both a label and an events series — continuing her focus on fast, tense and percussive dance music.
