Evolfo

Active since 2011 and based in Brooklyn, New York, Evolfo develops American psychedelic rock conceived for a large lineup, today structured around seven musicians. The band built itself on the New York scene of the 2010s with a collective approach that favors textures, shifts in atmosphere and a fluid movement between rock tension and more dreamlike climates. Evolfo released a first album, Last of the Acid Cowboys, in 2017, then continued that trajectory with Site Out of Mind in 2021 on Royal Potato Family, where their psych rock gains cohesion without abandoning its shifting, choral writing. In 2026 Evolfo added the EP Of Love to its discography, released via Food of Love, continuing an identity still rooted in the psychedelic forms of rock. On stage, Evolfo mainly plays the club and independent-venue circuit, notably sharing dates with Levitation Room in 2021, appearing at Xanadu in 2024 and playing the Bug Jar in Rochester in 2025. Evolfo thus remains tied to Brooklyn while developing a regular presence on the road.
