NAH

Active since posting his first demos online in 2011, NAH develops, between Philadelphia—where he trained—and Antwerp—where he is now based—a musical language at the intersection of DIY punk, noise, avant‑jazz, electronic music and a very physical relationship to hip‑hop. A percussionist, producer, sound manipulator and visual artist, NAH composes jagged, dense and fragmented pieces in which percussive rhythms occupy a central place amid abrasive textures, sound collages and often unstable structures. On stage he works with a tight setup centered on drums and samples, favoring impact, tension and rupture over linear progression. Over the years he has also collaborated with artists from experimental rap, noise and electronic scenes, notably Wiki, Moor Mother, Cities Aviv, Slauson Malone, Iggor Cavalera, Evicshen and Obongjayar. This trajectory places NAH in a border‑crossing space between concert, performance and sonic experimentation, with a practice that remains connected to the independent ethic from which it originates.
