Hannah Wicklund

A guitarist, singer and songwriter from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Hannah Wicklund has been developing a rock sound since childhood shaped by blues, soul and hints of southern rock, supported by a full-bodied voice and guitar work that is central to her songs. She formed her band at a very young age under the name Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones and hit the road as a teenager after finishing school at 16, building her career outside traditional channels. Her debut album, Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones, was released in 2018 on her own label, Strawberry Moon Records. Through touring she has become part of an American rock scene defined by live performance, appearing at festivals such as Firefly, Shaky Knees, Bourbon & Beyond, Summerfest and Kaaboo Del Mar, and opening for Marcus King and Greta Van Fleet. In 2024 she released The Prize, an album that continues this aesthetic—guitar-driven rock, stage energy and more personal songwriting.
