Artche

Based in Newcastle, UK, Artche has been developing an electronic project since the late 2010s that sits between deep house, melodic techno and progressive house, with a strong emphasis on vocals. Artche emerged in 2018 with a first track made with Cristoph, released on Pryda Presents — the label launched by Eric Prydz — which quickly placed him within a club scene oriented toward both hypnotic and melodic formats. The rest of his trajectory has seen releases on established house and techno labels such as Terminal M, Yoshitoshi and Last Night On Earth, where he also signed a collaboration with Sasha. His repertoire combines dark vocal lines, dense electronic textures and progressive club‑focused arrangements, without being confined to a single register, allowing Artche to move between contexts ranging from deep house to more tense forms of techno. In a few years Artche has built a coherent path in the British electronic scene, at the crossroads of dancefloor production and more atmospheric songwriting.
