Formula

Born in the UK and raised in the Caribbean, Formula has developed a path rooted in drum & bass, with a club‑oriented approach that blends fast rhythms, heavy basslines and more melodic touches. Active as a DJ and producer, Formula first gained recognition through releases on drum & bass labels such as Crucast, Low Down Deep and Invicta Audio, before moving toward a more independent trajectory with his own productions. Notable tracks include “Locomotiv”, made with T‑Lex, and “Automatech / Dance Machine” on Crucast. Formula has also produced remixes and continues his activity with single releases, DJ sets and radio appearances, including a guest mix broadcast on BBC Radio 1 alongside Charlie Tee. His universe, also presented under the name HRSPWR, mixes tension, frontal energy and brighter passages in an aesthetic that remains tied to drum & bass while hinting at an expansion into other electronic formats planned for 2026.
