VNSSA

Born in California, USA, VNSSA first developed her relationship with music as a drummer in indie bands before turning to DJing and electronic production. Her sound sits between house and techno, featuring pronounced basses, dry rhythms and a direct tension that retains a punk attitude without leaving the club context. Emerging in the second half of the 2010s, VNSSA established herself on the North American house scene with releases on Dirtybird, Higher Ground and Sweat It Out, and later on Three Six Zero Recordings, where her sound continued to evolve toward a tighter, more percussive formula. She also collaborated with Walker & Royce on the track “I Don’t Remember,” which has been widely supported in sets and clubs. Alongside her performances, VNSSA hosts Super Creep Radio, a monthly show focused on recent and more underground electronic selections. Her activities also include the duo Girl Math, formed with Nala, where VNSSA explores a crossover of indie dance, electro and vocals, conceived for both the live stage and the dancefloor.
