Info
On June 10, 2027, Mike + The Mechanics land at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for the Back on Track Tour, built around the songwriting craft that made the band a staple of British pop-rock. Started in 1985 by Mike Rutherford during a Genesis break, the project has always leaned on strong choruses, clean production, and that soft-rock pulse that sits right between adult pop and classic rock.
Live, the set is expected to move through the big anthems that shaped their late-80s and 90s run, from “Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)” and “All I Need Is a Miracle” to “The Living Years”, mixing direct, radio-sized hooks with warmer soul touches.
Since the 2010 relaunch, the band’s stage identity has also been carried by the newer vocal pairing, with Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar taking the lead, keeping the catalog alive while pushing the more recent chapters from The Road, Let Me Fly and Out of the Blue. A night for melody-first rock, tight playing, and a setlist that’s made to sing along to.
