OMD — Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark — play Kelvingrove Bandstand in Glasgow on 31 July 2026. Formed by Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys near Liverpool, the group forged a synth-pop language that blends direct melodies, classic pop structures and darker electronic textures. On stage they trace a line from their early records through Architecture & Morality and Dazzle Ships to recent work like Bauhaus Staircase (2023), supported by sequencers, drum machines and rich analog synths, with an expanded live lineup.

Expect a set that weaves early singles with newer material: Electricity, Enola Gay, Souvenir or Joan of Arc often meet The Punishment of Luxury and fresh tracks, connecting their post‑punk roots to a more contemporary production. McCluskey’s bass and voice pair with Humphreys’ keyboards and harmonies, building patterns that move from minimal pulses to more spacious hooks.
