Info
On 16 April 2027, HAEVN sets up shop at Salle Pleyel in Paris for a concert at the crossroads of pop and folk, with a pronounced penchant for orchestral arrangements. Propelled by the clear voice of Marijn van der Meer and the songwriting of Jorrit Kleijnen, the Dutch duo unfurls cinematic music, full of space and gentle tensions, where the strings widen the frame without weighing down the songs. You can hear this approach of building emotion in small, measured touches, between melancholic melodies and uncluttered production, as on ‘Finding Out More’ or ‘Back in the Water’, and continuing the trajectory of the albums Eyes Closed and Wide Awake. On stage, HAEVN leans into immersion: songs that breathe, silences that matter, and an intensity that is built through nuance rather than showiness.
