Info
On March 15, 2027, Jacob Banks will bring his deep voice and chiaroscuro storytelling to the Élysée Montmartre in Paris. An Anglo-Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer, he moves in his own way, somewhere between contemporary soul, R&B, alternative pop, and touches of gospel, never letting himself be boxed into a single category. On stage, his songs take on a cinematic scope: guitars that bite, brass in support, electronic textures and choirs that open space.
From his early EPs (The Monologue, The Paradox) to his albums Village and Lies About The War, Banks has built a repertoire guided by emotional honesty and a keen eye for detail. Expect a set that alternates between taut ballads, more nerve-wracking builds, and modern blues-inflected flourishes, with that eye for imagery and storytelling that gives each track real dramatic tension.
