Info
On May 2, 2027 at O2 Academy Birmingham, CHVRCHES bring their Glasgow-bred synthpop to the stage with the tight, melodic punch that made them stand out early on. Built around Lauren Mayberry’s clear, direct vocals and the duo’s sharp electronic writing, their live set moves between bright pop drive and darker, more tense textures.
Expect the balance they’ve honed across their run: the clean rush of breakthrough songs like “The Mother We Share” and “Lies”, the precision of their big-chorus albums, and the moodier edge they pushed further on Screen Violence. As a trio, they keep things lean and complementary, with Iain Cook shaping the arrangements and Martin Doherty adding vocal turns and melodic lines that shift the energy in real time. It’s a show where synths hit hard, hooks land fast, and the emotional undertow never disappears.
