Info
On February 12, 2027, Wende will take the stage at Metropool in Hengelo with a show that is as much a concert as a stage performance. She has been moving since the early 2000s between chanson, pop and rock, with a clear love for theatrical tension and musical risk-taking. What began with a strong cabaret and Francophone chanson influence grew into its own universe in which electronics, tight rhythms, and a very direct vocal approach can coexist.
Live, Wende continues along that hybrid line: songs are stripped down or built up, silences carry weight, and her voice remains the centerpiece. Do not expect a nostalgic look back, but a set that shows how she continually changes form without losing herself, from intimate to restless and back again. An evening for anyone who loves pop with rough edges and a performance that grabs you by the collar.
